Baby Shower Funness

I love going to baby showers, they are probably my favorite type of parties to go to. My cousin is going to have her first baby, a little girl and I am so excited to go. I love making things and this is a good excuse to create random funness. In the past I have made all kinds of things diaper cakes included. Here is a picture of my diaper cake inside is baby soap, shampoo and wipes, the flowers- hair bows and the socks rolled up like roses topped off with a nice set of shoes.

This time I was going to do something different. I decided to make a blanket but when I went to go get the fabric there was nothing I liked that went with the colors I needed. The fabric I found was not flannel like you usually need for this type of blanket but cotton so I was a little hesitant to use it, but I got it anyway and had a middle layer of flannel just in case it didn't fray as well, it frayed great I am very pleased with the finished product.

Then on to make hair bows, put snaps on socks so they don't loose their other half in the wash or anywhere else and of course a sparkly pink little princess wall decoration because all girls are princesses. Now I just have to wait for the shower and see if I can think of anything else to make .....
