We Finally Finished tilling our garden! and we have learned a few things for next year. Like, we are not going to put the leaves on top to mix in, we might put a few but not all of them. We ended up re-raking them and hauling them off because they would not till. Raking a foot of matted down soaking wet leaves doesn't work very well. Any way we finally got it done and now we can plant. I am totally looking forward to planting jumbo pumpkins I have always wanted to plant them and now I have the room for it.
Malin loved the dirt he was practically rolling in it. Needless to say his sister was not helping him stay clean she was shoveling dirt and dumping it on his head. Can someone say Bath time.
Throughout the garden there were hundreds of earthworms Kira was pleased as punch when she found this one, it is the biggest worm Kira or I have ever seen. She was digging for worms almost all day.
